ISO 9001:2015 – QUality Management Systems

By adhering to this standard, we can ensure we are taking proactive measures to minimise our environmental footprint, comply with relevant legal requirements, and achieve our environmental objectives.
ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems
ISO 45001 is an international standard that specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system. It provides a framework for organizstions to manage risks and improve OH&S performance.
The standard establishes criteria for an OH&S policy, objectives, planning, implementation, operation, auditing and review. Key elements include leadership commitment, worker participation, hazard identification and risk assessment, legal and regulatory compliance, emergency planning, incident investigation and continual improvement.
Chemical Distribution Institute (CDI)
The CDI is incorporated under the law of the Netherlands as the Stichting Chemical Distribution Institute (CDI) and operates as a non-profit making foundation.
CDI is responsible for the inspection and audit of the global supply chain for the transport and storage of bulk and packaged chemicals. CDI is not a trade association; it is non-profit, non-commercial and free from political influence.
CDI is here to serve the chemical company members of CDI and provide their inspection and audit needs in order to provide them with cost effective systems for risk assessment using the best chemical and LPG knowledge available.
Authorised Economic Operator (AEO)
Authorised Economic Operator status is an internationally recognised standard that shows your business’s role in the international supply chain is secure and has customs control procedures that meet Authorised Economic Operator standards and criteria.
Being an Authorised Economic Operator means we have met the high standards set by law in relation to both safety and security.
AEO Status is recognised by a number of countries such as the UK, European Union, China, the USA, Switzerland, New Zealand and Singapore.
CTPAT: Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (USA)
CTPAT is a voluntary public-private sector partnership program which recognises that CBP can provide the highest level of cargo security only through close cooperation with the principle stakeholders of the international supply chain such as importers, carriers, consolidators, licensed customs brokers, and manufacturers.
CTPAT members make an agreement to help protect the supply chain, identify security gaps, and implement specific security measures and best practices.
CTPAT members are considered to be of low risk, and are therefore less likely to be examined at a U.S. port of entry.
Safety & Quality Assessment for Sustainability (UK & Germany)
SQAQ is an assessment scheme for chemical companies to evaluate the safety, environmental, security and quality performance of logistics service providers and distributors.
As a globally-recognised assessment system it evaluates the safety, environmental, security, health quality and corporate social responsibility, of logistics service providers and chemical distributors enabling them to achieve supply chain excellence.
We aim to provide safe, secure, responsible and environmental logistics services across both the UK and globally.
European Chemical Transport Association (ECTA): Responsible care
European Chemical Transport Association, ECTA for short, believes that Responsible Care is the best strategy for its members to communicate their continuous efforts in SHEQ. SHEQ stands for Safety, Health, Environment and Quality. Joining ECTA RC means implementing RC principles into the company’s strategy, management and daily operations.
With this label we are showing our customers in the chemical industry, that sustainable supply chains are a major importance to us.
Logistics UK (Formerly Freight Transport Association)
Logistics UK, previously known as the Freight Transport Association, is one of the largest trade associations in the UK, with members moving goods by road, rail, sea, and air. Its mission is to represent the views and interests of over 18,000 companies from the transport industry.
Through its media activity, Logistics UK works to ensure that the issues that are crucial to logistics such as decarbonisation, skills shortages, technology and innovation, remain at the top of the media’s and government’s agendas.
As a member we have a voice, and the ability to have influence around policy developments that might affect our business, the services we offer and the industry we work within.
Singapore Chemical Industry Responsible Care (SCIC): Responsible Care
The Singapore Chemical Industry Council Limited (SCIC) is the official industry association representing the Singapore Energy and Chemicals cluster in the private sector. It plays a proactive role in representing the interests of this manufacturing sector and continues to promote it as a major economic pillar of Singapore.
SCIC adopted Responsible Care in 1990 and continues to actively lead the chemical industry in achieving Responsible Care initiatives. Annually, various programmes such as training workshops, induction briefings, best practices sharing seminars and other outreach efforts are conducted to further advocate Responsible Care to the chemical industry and beyond.
Operation Clean Sweap (OCS)
Operation Clean Sweep® (OCS) is an international programme designed to prevent the loss of plastic granules (pellets, flakes and powders) during handling by the various entities in the plastics value chain and their release into the environment.
Cyber Essentials Certified
Cyber Essentials is a United Kingdom certification scheme designed to show an organisation has a minimum level of protection in cyber security through annual assessments to maintain certification. Backed by the UK government and overseen by the National Cyber Security Centre.
