About the role

We're looking for an enthusiastic Junior Developer who's eager to learn, enjoys solving problems, and wants to grow their skills across a broad range of technologies. You don't need years of experience. You need curiosity, a good grounding in the fundamentals, and the drive to build things well.

You'll join a supportive development team to build and maintain the in-house systems that keep our global business running. From day one, you'll be involved in real work: coding, testing, troubleshooting, implementation, and documentation. You'll learn from experienced Senior Developers who'll help you develop your craft, and you'll collaborate widely with colleagues across Bulkhaul, business partners, and teams throughout the organisation.

What you'll do

Support the team in building and maintaining our in-house systems. Write, test, and document code. Help troubleshoot and resolve issues. Contribute to solution design. Work closely with Senior Developers, customers, and colleagues across the business to deliver systems people rely on.

What we're looking for (experience is beneficial but not essential)

A genuine interest in software development and a willingness to learn. Some programming experience or a solid grasp of coding fundamentals. The specific language matters far less than your ability and enthusiasm to pick things up. Curiosity about how systems are designed and how the pieces connect. Self-motivation, with the ability to prioritise, organise, and manage your own workload. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

We're more interested in your potential and attitude than a specific checklist of technologies. If you're a fast learner with broad interests, don't rule yourself out.
