Our Houston Pasadena site is a critical hub in our operations, and we are seeking a dedicated professional to lead our tank wash facility.

Role:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Tank Wash Manager to oversee the daily operations of our tank cleaning facility. The ideal candidate will ensure that all cleaning processes meet industry standards, maintain a safe working environment, and lead a team of operators to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Management:

Oversee the tank cleaning operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and industry regulations. Implement and monitor cleaning schedules to minimize downtime to maximizeefficiency. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations. Lead on monthly environmental reporting to regulatory bodies.

• Team Leadership:

Supervise, train, and mentor a team of tank wash operators. Foster a positive culture of safety and accountability. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide positive feedback, and encourage continuous improvement.

• Safety and Compliance:

Ensure all operations comply with OSHA standards and company safety policies. Maintain accurate records or procedures and protocols, conducting regular safety audits and risk assessments.

• Maintenance and Equipment:

Monitor the condition of cleaning equipment, managing inventory and supply levels and        ordering replacements, as necessary. Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly coordinating maintenance when necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a tank cleaning or industrial cleaning environment.
• Strong knowledge of tank cleaning procedures, equipment, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work in a demanding environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using computer systems for scheduling and reporting.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required
• Medically fit to undertake the physical aspects of the role, including working in confined spaces and in varying weather conditions.

Preferred but not essential requirements:

• Experience with Groninger cleaning systems.
• Familiarity with hazardous materials handling and disposal.
• Certifications in confined space entry and hazardous waste operations.
